Cyrie Sendashonga, Elected as a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science

Cyrie Sendashonga, Pew Fellows Advisor (from 1999 -2004) and Regional Coordinator CIFOR-Central Africa, has been elected as a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science. Members of the Academy are chosen for â€œeminence in the arts, the natural and social sciences, and the humanities, and are mandated by the Academy's founders to explore the social consequences and policy implications of knowledge. Sendashonga's election to the Academy is in recognition of "outstanding contribution to the field of biodiplomacy".
