Coral Reefs in Danger
February 12, 2008 - NBC6.NET

South Florida Today

They protect us from strong waves, provide for the fish and lobster we love, a billion-dollar tourism industry, but coral reefs are dying at an alarming rate here in Florida and around the world. One of the scientists studying this dilemma is Dr. Andrew Baker, who was just awarded a prestigious Pew marine fellowship much like the Nobel Prize for the oceans.

Click for Video - Dr. Andrew Baker discusses the state of coral reefs, which are dying at an alarming rate in Florida.
